Six Things to do that Don’t Require Spending Money

Whether you’re trying to save money for retirement, an upcoming vacation, or just to cut back on spending, listed are six things to do that don’t require spending any money. Enjoy!

Have a Movie Marathon with Friends or Family

I invite friends over, ask them to bring a movie they already have and one food item. Pop some popcorn and enjoy!

Rearrange your furniture

Spring is here, so think about reinventing your space by mixing things up. While you’re at it, get rid of unwanted clutter. Not to mention, all that movement is a form of exercise!

Speaking of exercise, go on a bike ride or brisk walk.

Both require no money. You can discover a new part of your neighborhood or people watch. Plus, it’s great for your mood and overall health! Win-win!

Have a Garage Sale

After the decluttering and reorganizing, you will probably have a ton of things you could easily sell to others. But if you’re not up for all of that work, donate the items to a local thrift store or friend!

Have a picnic using only items you already have

PB&J anyone? When the weather warms up, this is the perfect excuse to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors! You don’t need to be fancy: just a blanket, some snacks, and good company.

Visit a friend or family member

When was the last time you went to see your parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles? If you know they will be home, show up on their front porch and visit with them for an hour or so. The surprise will make both of your days.
